>Over 50 companies, financial institutions and entrepreneurs organizations have attended the event

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at COFIDES, Salvador Marín, had a meeting with representatives of the Spanish Confederation of Employers´ Organizations (CEOE) and with over 50 companies, financial entities and entrepreneurs associations with the aim of presenting the activity developed by COFIDES. The meeting has also covered relevant information related to the financial instruments and technical programs supplied by COFIDES assigned to support the internationalization strategy of Spanish companies.

CEOE organized the event in line with the previous meeting held between CEOE’s representatives and the Secretary of State for Commerce, Jaime García Legaz, where the secretary reaffirmed the commitment for the development of adequate instruments to support the international activities of Spanish companies and specially the internationalisation of SMEs.

Throughout the meeting, Salvador Marín, expressed that “COFIDES’ mission comprises supporting Spanish enterprise that undertake international investment projects, and with the objective of becoming Spain’s foremost financial institution”. Moreover, the Chairman has pointed out that “At the present moment, COFIDES has enough financing capacity to provide medium and long term financial support for viable direct investment projects in foreign countries”.

Among the representatives of the CEOE, the event was attended by the Chairman of the International Relations Commission and Chairman of AMETIC, Jesús Banegas; the Director of International Relations, José García-Morales and the Attached Director of International Relations, Álvaro Schweinfurth.
