Madrid, June 26, 2012. COFIDES will finance the Aetech Mexico company by a co-investment loan for a five years 700,000 euro loan. The purpose of the operation, whose whole investment ascends to one million euro, will be the marketing in Mexico of a new manufacturing system developed in Spain that allows to plan and launch production without staff with a completely traceable.

COFIDES chairman, Salvador Marín, and APLICACIONS ELECTRIQUES chairman, Joan Vidal, have signed the agreement by which COFIDES will finance the AEtech Mexico society, the project society, from its own sources (25%) and from the FIEX and FONPYME, state-owned funds attached to the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, through the Secretary of State for Commerce.

APLICACIONS ELECTRIQUES, created in Gerona in 1980, designs and introduces this innovative production and control system. This project will be done by the AEtech society, established in Mexico since 2010, with the purpose to develop this product by the introduction of the Aemes system to control and trace equipments and data during the complete production stage.

After the agreement signature, COFIDES Chairman, Salvador Marín, has pointed out that “for COFIDES financing Spanish companies investment proyects outside, as Aplications Electriques, is a priority”. He has added that “its innovation and development is also very outstanding”. On his own behalf, APLICACIONS ELECTRIQUES Chairman, Joan Vidal, has expressed that “for AEtech, this financing is an incentive to introduce this system in the exterior market, that will start in Mexico”.

COFIDES is a government mercantile society which finances Spanish companies internationalisation by the FIEX and FONPYME funds, state-owned funds through the Secretary of State for Commerce, that is attached to the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. In its shareholders also participate Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA), Banco Santander and Banco Sabadell.
