Madrid, March 25, 2024. COFIDES is supporting the establishment of Deltacomgroup in Chile. To accomplish that, it will provide a joint venture loan of 270,000 euros charged to FONPYME and COFIDES' own resources.
Deltacomgroup was awarded a contract for the provision of telecommunications infrastructure asset management, repair, and spare parts logistics services for one of the main telecommunications operators. To provide this service, Deltacomgroup will launch an engineering laboratory (repair center) in Santiago, Chile.
This is the fourth transaction in which COFIDES and Deltacomgroup are collaborating, after COFIDES accompanied the company in its projects in Colombia, Mexico, and Nigeria. The company continues to set its sights internationally in order to grow, diversify risks, and become more competitive.
The corporate head of the COFIDES Investment Division, Miguel Ángel Ladero, pointed out: “It is very gratifying to accompany companies with a large technological component like Deltacomgroup throughout their internationalization process, helping them to achieve greater competitiveness and create quality jobs in each project."
The CEO of Deltacomgroup, Antonio Peinado, has assured that this engineering center was created to offer professional and comprehensive asset management services for telecommunications network infrastructures: repairs, inventory management, purchase of equipment, asset recovery, and spare parts management (SPRML model) for telecommunications operators in the Andean region. DELTACOMGROUP has a clear desire to do business on the global telecommunications markets; that is, to follow the main telecommunications operators in their expansion strategies, developing an accelerated internationalization strategy.
This project contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 8 (Decent Work for All and Economic Growth), 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).
